I heart faces { slice of life }

I was excited to do this photo challenge! This photo is of my husband Tim. He is a Volunteer firefighter for our town Newsoms. He doesn't get paid... he doesn't get recognition... he simply volunteers his time to our town. When the tones drop he races to the department to help anyone who is in need. I have been able to go on a few calls and I enjoy snapping pictures of him doing something hes truly passionate about! In this picture I caught him off guard he was running from the fire house with his turn out gear to jump in the truck. To me this is real life in our small few hundred people town.. people willing to help others no matter what the case is! Our firefighters are our true hometown heros!

This is my daughter Tatem who is 5. She is my favorite to photograph because she loves! posing!

{Addy's Surgery}

My middle baby Addalyne has had issues with her ears since she was 5 months old! So we found ourselves at CHKD again for another surgery. Her CT scan showed she had infection in the mastoid area of the middle ear. Thankfully it didnt spread to any bones and was easily treated. Dr. Darrow Took her old tube out, cleaned her middle ear out really good and gave her a new tube. He also removed more of her adenoids. She was a trooper for the whole ordeal! So to all of you parents out there who seem to live at a dr's office I am right there with you!
